Jane Sowter – Educational Psychologist
When: Tuesday 1st February (3rd Week) – 1:15pm onwards
Where: Doctoral Training Room, C166
Jane Sowter is a chartered Educational Psychologist for Coventry LEA (Local Education Authority) who works in both the public and private sector with children and teenagers. She works on a mainly consultative basis with schools and nurseries, in conjunction with colleagues in health and social services. She is particularly interested in Dyslexia and represents the education department on the city adoption panel which involves considering cases of individual children. She will speak about her career and what the role of an Educational Psychologist involves.
Claire Chesworth – Careers Service Drop-In session
When: Monday 14th February (5th Week) – 12:45pm-2:15pm
Where: Psychology Department, Level C (around the snack-bar area)
